Two of Chulalongkorn University’s projects have been recognized and granted “Thailand Public Service Awards 2022” for the “Service Innovation – Good Level” category. Organized by the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission, Mr. Wissanu Krea-ngam, Deputy Prime Minister presided over the virtual award ceremony on Monday, September 12, 2022. Both projects include
- The “Robotic Rehabilitation for Stroke Patients, CUREs” project is a collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. This is to help rehabilitate stroke patients to recover their weak limbs after a stroke attack and return to living as much of a normal life as possible.
- The “Swine Semen for Artificial Insemination” research project by the Center of Learning Network for the Region (CLNR) aims to increase food security and household income.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kris Angkanaporn, Assistant Vice President for Strategy, System Development and Social Engagement, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krisna Piravej from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Head of the “Robotic Rehabilitation for Stroke Patients, CUREs” project, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Noppadon Kitana, Director of the Center of Learning Network for the Region (CLNR) participated in receiving the award via the zoom meeting platform. Prof. Dr. Narin Hiransuthikul, Vice President for Strategic Monitoring and Assessment, Planning, Budgeting and Well-being also took part in congratulating the team.
